Gas Heating Systems
Rooftop units: A self contained furnace combined with an air conditioning system. If your rooftop unit is over 15 years old, chances are the furnace contained inside is only 60 percent efficient. This means that for every dollar you spend for fuel, you only receive 60 cents worth of heat.
Free standing or horizontal furnace: Typically located in the garage or in the attic space. This is a gas heating appliance with several safety circuits to insure safe operation. Any furnace over 10 years of age should be inspected yearly for heat exchanger failure. Any furnace with natural draft or a standing pilot is a 60 percent efficient furnace.
Furnaces built to standard today are now 80 percent efficient. You receive a 20 percent payback in gas fuel alone by replacing one of those old units.

Our technicians are trained to test safety circuits and switches as well as functional parts such as motors. We then provide you with a written report along with our recommendations for safe operation of your equipment.
